The Friends of St Vincent
|
Since 1999 members of the parish have helped a number of needy families
in a variety of ways:
 |
Operated a weekly mini-bus service to the 11.30 Mass |
|
Provided funding for the Meals on Wheels and for the Sri Lankan
charity set up by SHARE |
|
Organised coach outings every summer, pantomime trips every Christmas,
and BBC Music Nights. |

Organised the annual lunch and mass for the sick in February as well
as the annual barbecue at St Mary's Abbey. |
We will continue to help needy families in our area whenever we can and
look forward to the support of our parishioners in the form of a quarterly
church collection. This will allow us to achieve our goal of being a local
group supporting local causes. We thank you for your support over the last 8
years and hope you will continue to support the Friends of St Vincent going
forward.
