Knights of St Columba
Council 440 Mill Hill
The Knights of St Columba have been a presence in the Parish since 1953, and
have endeavoured to give the parish clergy all the help and support which
may be needed Our motto is: "Charity, Unity, Fraternity" and we try
through our fund-raising activities, to help charities both local, national
and international.

The Knights of St Columba are affiliated to the
International Alliance of
Catholic Knights (I.A.C.K), a world-wide union of brother organisations,
so we have, in addition to our more local interests, a wider perspective,
and we are ready to respond to natural disasters and their aftermath both at
home and abroad.
We steward Christmas and Easter liturgies, providing free posters. There is
a sponsored walk at Christmas and Grand Knight Dave Kennedy runs the summer
7km one. Quiz and race nights raise money for charity and our 200 Club helps
the parish. We help with the parish census and the International evening. We
arrange Masses for our sick, disabled and deceased members. We speak out on
concerns affecting the Church such as the Human Embryology Bill.
As with all organisations, we need recruits to join us in our attempts to
serve God by serving others, so if you are a Catholic gentleman who would
like more information about us with a view to joining our ranks, then please
