PPC Good News Group

Members of the group have been involved in researching different ways of meeting the Parish objective of spreading the Good News. Initially, the group particularly wanted to find a way of welcoming back to the church those who might have drifted away and later on, to present the understanding of the Good News in a new light, to us all. Fr Kevin announced at the end of September that we are to run an Alpha course in the Catholic context for ten weeks starting on 14th January 2010 to which all parishioners will be invited. From September to December 2009 the group members will assist with the training of leaders/helpers to run the course. On completion of the course, the group will evaluate the course content to decide further ways of promoting the Good News to all.
