The saying "The family that prays together stays together" is well known, probably because it expresses the accumulated wisdom of centuries. There are many ways in which we can raise our hearts and minds to God, but a good starting point is the huge patrimony of traditional prayers handed down from one generation to the next. With these as a foundation we can move into a deeper personal relationship with God.

This section of the website includes many of these traditional prayers, some of which may be very familiar, but they are included nonetheless. If English is not your first language you may appreciate seeing in print the prayers that everybody assumes that you know!
