Note: The book of Ecclesiasticus (also known as the book of Sirach) does not appear in all Christian Bibles. Originally written in Hebrew, it was translated into Greek in the year 132 BC. It was incorporated into the Greek Bible, but was never part of the Jewish canon of Scripture. Its alternative name originates from its subtitle in the Greek Bible, "The Wisdom of Jesus Ben Sirach".
